Wine tasting

Good wine gladdens the hearts of connoisseurs at Caves Legrand, Caves Taillevent and Duclot La Cave at Galeries Lafayette.

Since 1972, Caves Legrand Filles et Fils has given drink at the magnificent Galerie Vivienne, where paintings of goddesses and nymphs dance in the rotundas. Walk on Giandomenico Facchina's tiles and raise your glass of wine to Paris at the tasting counter, which also sells delicious regional products.

Between the Arc de Triomphe and the Parc Monceau is one of the most impressive collections of wines in the world. Inside the Caves de Taillevent store, where there are several thousand wines, is the rare wine cellar, a precious setting where bottles are stored in optimal conditions. All the bottles are selected by the team of sommeliers, who pay equal attention to classic crus and new discoveries and will help you find the best vintage to suit your budget.

At Galeries Lafayette, Duclot La Cave offers 2,500 wines from Bordeaux, Champagne and other regions of France, as well as wines from around the world and spirits, in a space covering 450 sqm on the first floor of Lafayette Gourmet, all in a local wine merchant-style setting, under LED lights, with controlled humidity and a constant temperature. Whether you are a connoisseur or a beginner, the ten experienced sommeliers are ready to assist and offer advice in five languages (French, English, Chinese, Spanish and Portuguese).
