NoMad, from New York to Los Angeles

NoMad, from New York to Los Angeles

It already won New Yorkers over. Now, NoMad spreads to the City of Angels, where it gives Hollywood glamour a new lease on life.

In Downtown Los Angeles, NoMad has taken up residence in a historic building, the Giannini Place, a former bank built in 1920 for the Bank of Italy. Doric columns by the entrance and original marble floors make up NoMad's neoclassical decoration. Just like in New York, Frenchman Thierry Garcia designed the hotel. In the rooms, styles and period collide, and pieces of furniture are assembled like works of art for a striking and surprising end result. Even if you do not stay at the hotel, take the time to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant, chefs Daniel Humm and Will Guidara's first establishment outside of New York. On the rooftop, an outdoor pool and a cocktail bar await, perfect settings to sip on a Gin Tonic – in moderation, obviously – while looking over all of Los Angeles.
