Designed by French architect Paul Andreu more than ten years ago, the facility can welcome thousands of spectators under its glass and titanium egg. It offers theatre plays, operas, exhibitions and concerts. No need for a bathing suit should you wish to access it: you enter through a transparent tunnel hidden under the lake. Within the scope of a series of activities celebrating the centre's 9th birthday, an exhibition has displayed various works of art since December 18th, 2016: extracts of plays, elements of opera scenery, design illustrations, artists' manuscripts, brochures and programmes are all in the limelight until November 30th. This is the perfect opportunity to learn everything about The Giant Egg.
