Here, the atmosphere stands in stark contrast with the busy nearby streets. As soon as you enter the porch, all goes quiet. Your eyes are drawn to the elegant design of this charming address. This riad dates back to the 1930s and was owned by a Marrakech notable until 1998. Behind the mashrabiya stands a small luxury hotel, a rectangular pool surrounded by olive and orange trees where you can enjoy a delightful dinner. The delicate trickling from the interior courtyard fountain will escort you as you walk to the dining room – a cosy room with woodpanelling.
La Villa des Orangers is an exceptional restaurant, open to outside guests at night. Come and discover the local terroir and delicate Mediterranean cuisine. The chef constantly renews his creations an offers colourful dishes, combining spices and herbs, inspired by tradition with a modern twist. Crayfish papillotes with carrots and orange olive oil emulsion, Atlas snail dumplings, vegetable briouats, garlic and harissa shrimp with caramelised lemon will create marvellous memories. And don't forget to admire the magnificent view on the Koutoubia minaret from the rooftop.
