In the heart of Panama City's historic district, Casco Viejo, Diablicos treats you to a typical meal. There is little risk of forgetting where you are: here, everything reminds you of Panamanian culture, from the decoration, with folkloric masks hanging on the walls, to the servers themselves, dressed in traditional garb.
Native American, Hispanic, African and Caribbean cuisine have inspired that of Panama, making it so delicious. At Diablicos, try the Ropa Vieja, made from braised beef, vegetables, peas and plantains, or the Corvina ceviche, the local fish, served in fried plantain cups. For dessert, the coconut flan will remind you of the flavours of the islands. Pair it all with a refreshing and delicious Balboa, a locally brewed beer.
During the meal, “diables”, who lend their name to the restaurant and are an integral part of the culture, begin their frenzied dance for a moment of pure folklore!
