This super stadium hosts major events such as the 2010 Super Bowl— the National Football League championship game. This giant structure set in Arlington, near the Rangers Ballpark, is sided with 91-metre high arches, and a half-metal, half-glass facade that catches the reflecting sun. The retractable roof of almost 202,000 m2, according to some, lets God “watch the Cowboys on Sunday”.
The stadium was completely renovated in 2009, with luxurious interior design and giant screens at a cost of more than a billion dollars. With a capacity of more than 100,000 people, the AT&T Stadium will hopefully be the scene of a new Super Bowl in the coming years. Parking around the stadium is prohibitively expensive, so choose public transit to get there instead. The Metro Arlington Xpress (MAX) bus system or the shuttle bus bring you in from the city centre. An unforgettable place to see a game or concert.
