Star Wars Identities
Published on

More than 200 pieces from the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Chicago are on display at Vienna's Museum of Applied Arts (MAK).
Alongside original props, costumes, and works of art celebrating, among others, R2-D2 and Darth Vader, this exhibition offers a customised, interactive identity quest and some very insightful scientific content. A team of geneticists, biochemists, and psychologists have divided the exhibition into three parts (roots, influences, and decisions) in which are determined ten components of identity. The visitors become the actors, mixing their real identity with virtual elements, and thereby creating their own Star Wars character. Which side of the force will you be on?
