For the third consecutive year, Goût de / Good France will gather more than 2000 chefs from the
5 continents to honor French gastronomy on the first day of spring, March 21, 2017.
In each participating restaurant, the event, which will take the form of a dinner, will pay tribute to the excellence of French cuisine, its capacity for innovation and the values it promotes: sharing, pleasure and respect for good food, company and environment. Everyone can take part in this outstanding dinner by reserving a table in one of the participating establishments.
Goût de / Good France celebrates the vitality of French cuisine and creates bonds among cooks from around the world. This event marks the dialogue between different cultures by bringing them about a common language: that of French cuisine. The 2017 Goût de / Good France operation will be spotlighting training sessions in the catering, hospitality and tourism sectors, involving schools and students from all four corners of the world. In total, more than 2,000 restaurants, 71 cooking schools and 150 French embassies abroad will get together on March 21, 2017 to welcome nearly 250,000 guests by making the world's largest dinner. All styles of catering are concerned, from haute cuisine to quality bistro. Get ready for tasty discoveries!
