Régis Marcon: locally sourced cuisine in the Business cabin

Starting April 1, 2014 and for a period of 6 months, 5 exceptional new dishes crafted by Régis Marcon will be served successively on long-haul flights in the Business cabin.
From stewed green lentils with shrimp to free-range chicken with black morels, the triple Michelin starred chef passionately prepares natural, locally-sourced products to serve up deliciously authentic cuisine.
To share his unique excellence, Régis Marcon will introduce his culinary creations to Business class passengers on April 22, during a special flight to Tokyo-Narita.

Fly between Paris and Hong Kong in the A380

From June 9 to October 25, 2014, Air France will offer a daily flight from Paris to Hong Kong via the A380 (4 flights per week from May 27 to June 8, 2014). Air France thus becomes the 1st airline to connect France and the “Pearl of the Orient” by A380. Served for over 75 years by our airline, Hong Kong is the 2nd destination in China provided by the A380. On board, enjoy a unique flying experience and take advantage of optimal comfort!

A Burmese adventure: jet off to Yangon!

La Première: “winter warmers” dishes

On board the La Première cabin* in February and March, discover exclusive meals crafted by Michelin-starred chef Guy Martin: duck foie gras with lemon zest and candied date dumplings, sumac shrimp wrapped in chicken breast, pan-seared cod in coconut milk, and other delicious items inspired by his travels. And for dessert, enjoy the delicious treats prepared by Guy Krenzer from Maison Lenôtre. Try the “Zig Zag,” a perfect harmony of hazelnut and chocolate, or the chocolate banana crumble with a hint of pear to end your meal on a sweet note.

New seats in the Business cabin: a cocoon in the sky!

As of June 2014, Air France will begin installing new seats in the Business cabin of our long-haul fleet. With a sleek, cocoon design these seats enable you to take advantage of a haven of comfort and privacy. The perfectly horizontal bed position guarantees restful sleep. Prefer to relax and unwind? Enjoy over 1,000 hours of entertainment on a high definition 16-inch touch screen. Finally, you have direct access to the aisle regardless of where you are seated in the cabin. Discover a brand new travel experience in the Business cabin!

Air France continues its fight against noise pollution

Reducing the noise of our aircraft is one of our environmental policy priorities. It is also a priority for those living and working near airports. To strengthen our commitment to this priority, we will progressively provide noise reduction kits to our entire Airbus A320 fleet starting in June 2014. The new equipment will significantly reduce noise generated by our aircraft during airport descent.
