General Conditions of Sale for La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle

The present Conditions are part of the General Conditions of Sale as defined in the Legal Notices section of the site.
All Customers reserving the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option are presumed to have read, understood and accepted the present Conditions.


1. Definitions

Unless stated otherwise in the present General Conditions of Sale, the expressions and terms hereafter are defined as follows:

- "Customer": individual person 18 years of age or older who has reserved the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option holding an Air France ticket for travel in the Business cabin, provided by Air France or Delta Airlines, for a long-haul flight with no La Première cabin available.

- "Air France": the company "Air France," a French public limited company with its registered office at 45, rue de Paris, F-95747 Roissy CDG Cedex, France, entered in the Bobigny Trade & Companies Register with the number 420 495 178.

- "Business Class": travel class reserved for Customers on long-haul flights that have paid a Business fare.

- "Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2": Terminal 2 at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.

- "Conditions of Sale" or "Conditions" or "Present Conditions": the present general conditions of sale defining the conditions for reserving "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle."

- "Option": possibility offered to Customers to reserve and enjoy "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle" according to the terms outlined in the Present Conditions, subject to availability.

- "Price": price per passenger for the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option. The Price is:
  • One hundred fifty euros (€150) including tax* or 20,000 Flying Blue Miles for Meet & Greet services on arrival at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport
  • Three hundred euros (€300) including tax* or 40,000 Flying Blue Miles for Meet & Greet services on departure or connecting flight services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport

*Or the equivalent in local currency when ordered on the country websites listed below (price rounded up and based on the current exchange rate, updated 2 times per year).

- "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle": access to services provided by the Option, as listed below in Article 2 of the Present Conditions.

- "Websites": the websites provided through www.airfrance.com

- "Long-Haul Flights": long-haul flights with an Air France flight number and provided by Air France or Delta Air Lines that do not feature a La Première cabin, or flights to Moscow and Tel Aviv provided by Air France and offering the Option.


2. Definition of services provided for the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option

By reserving the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option, Customers receive the following services.

2.1. For Customers departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2:
  • Exclusive reception at a dedicated meeting point at Terminal 2E, Gate 14 or 12, for all departure terminals
    • Gate 14 for a Customer arriving via taxi or chauffeured car
    • Gate 12 in the dedicated La Première check-in area if the Customer is using airport parking

  • Personalized escort throughout the airport
  • Special services (porter from the entrance to the La Première lounge for checked baggage, fast-track security checkpoints)
  • Access to a dedicated check-in area
  • Access to the Air France La Première lounge
  • Boarding by car to the aircraft
  • Meeting the flight crew upon entry into the aircraft

2.2. For Customers with connections at Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2:
  • Reception upon arrival at Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2
  • Personalized escort throughout the airport to the La Première lounge and to their connecting flight
  • Exclusive itinerary through the airport
  • Access to the Air France La Première lounge
  • Boarding by car to the aircraft for your connecting flight
  • Meeting the flight crew upon entry into the aircraft

2.3. For Customers arriving at Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2:
  • Reception at the aircraft door
  • Escort to the baggage area

Customers cannot access the La Première lounge, which is in the international area.


3. Conditions for reserving the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option

3.1. The “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option is fee-based and subject to availability. It is reserved for Customers traveling in Business Class with a ticket indicating an Air France flight number for departure or arrival, or during connecting flight(s) at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport:
  • On long-haul flights provided by Air France or Delta Air Lines that do not feature a La Première cabin
  • On flights to Moscow and Tel Aviv provided by Air France

Customers will then receive a voucher/receipt for the Option, which they must show to the La Première Air France teams at the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.

Infants under 2 years of age traveling with a Customer are admitted at no extra charge. For infants over 2 years of age, the applicable fare is the same as that of the Customer.

Unaccompanied Minors (UM) cannot purchase the "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle" Option.

3.2. All tickets sold in Venezuela are excluded from this offer.

3.3. This Option can be subscribed to by calling the following number: + 33 (0) 1 56 93 10 05 (24/7, cost of a local call if dialed in France) or directly on the day of your departure in the dedicated La Première check-in area located at the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport Terminal 2E, facing Gate 12. Customers will then receive a voucher/receipt for the Option, which they must show to the La Première Air France teams at the Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport.

3.4. Travel agencies can also reserve the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option for Customers by telephoning the number provided in paragraph 3.3.

3.5. The “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option is only available for reservation/purchase according to the Present Conditions. The Option is subject to availability.

3.6. When ordering the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option, the Customer agrees to provide Air France with correct information, and to refrain from making any reservation if the Customer does not meet the conditions outlined in the Present Conditions. The Customer also declares that he or she is able to enter into a contract and that he or she is ordering the Option for himself or herself or for another person who has authorized the Customer to submit his or her order. This person is subsequently presumed to have read and accepted the Present General Conditions of Sale.

3.7. The “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option is non-transferable, and valid only for the individual named in the order.


4. Payment

All payments are made by debit or credit card in euros or by debit of Flying Blue Miles when confirming the order by phone. Air France will immediately process the payment by debit or credit card or Flying Blue Miles following the phone order.

Payment can also be made directly at the airport by debit or credit card, in cash or Flying Blue Miles.

Material proof of purchase for the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option is provided by an EMD (Electronic Miscellaneous Document).

This service can also be subscribed to by Flying Blue program members and non-members. Flying Blue Customers may pay the Option fare with their Miles in his account and for that of a single other person accompanying them in the same cabin on the same flight and subject to availability.


5. Conditions of use

5.1. Customers who purchased the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option for a flight departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2 must proceed to the meeting point located at Terminal 2E, Gate 14 at the time indicated in the order. A La Première agent will meet the Customer there. In all cases, the Customer must respect the Check-In Deadline indicated in the order.

Customers who purchased the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option for a connecting flight at Paris-Charles de Gaulle 2 will be greeted by an Air France La Première agent when exiting the aircraft upon arrival at the airport. The agent will show you to the La Première lounge.

Customers who purchased the "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle" Option for a flight arriving at Paris-Charles de Gaulle will be greeted by an Air France La Première agent when exiting the aircraft upon arrival at the airport. The agent will show you to the baggage delivery area.

5.2. Ordering the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option does not change one’s travel class. Outside of the services mentioned in Article 2 of the Present Conditions, the Customer is still subject to all transport and travel conditions for the Business Class selected when the ticket was purchased. No Flying Blue Miles are awarded for the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option.


6. Air France commitments and liability

6.1 Air France agrees to provide all services related to the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option as outlined in the Present Conditions. However, we inform the Customer that Air France may be forced to change the services provided by the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option for operational reasons related to security or safety requirements.

Air France will take every measure to inform the Customer as soon as possible by telephone and/or e-mail and find a satisfactory alternative solution for the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option for the Customer.
Air France is not liable in the event that the services offered by the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option cannot be provided or altered for the aforementioned operational reasons. Customers not receiving the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option will receive a refund of the purchase Price according to the terms outlined in Article 7 below.

6.2. Air France is responsible for the reservation, sale, organization and coordination of the "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle" Option according to the terms outlined in the Present Conditions.

Air France is not liable in the event that the services offered by the "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option cannot be provided due to a reason attributable to the Customer, notably if the Customer does not follow or meet the terms and requirements outlined in the Present Conditions. In any event, the Customer is informed and presumed to accept that airport services may be subject to security and/or safety requirements for which Air France is not liable.


7. Refunds

7.1. The Price paid for reserving the "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle" Option may be refunded in the following cases:
  • Delay or cancellation of the Air France or Delta Air Lines flight for which the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option was purchased (if no alternative solution was found to modify or reschedule the desired services)
  • The services offered by the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option were not provided by Air France and the non-provision of services is unrelated to non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions by the Customer
  • The trip is cancelled by the Customer. In this case, the Customer must inform Air France by calling + 33 (0) 1 56 93 10 05 (available 24/7)

7. 2. For all refund requests for the “La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle” Option, the Customer must call + 33 (0) 1 56 93 10 05, available 24/7.


8. Force majeure

Air France will not be held responsible nor be considered as having failed in its obligations in the event of the non-provision of all or part of the reserved services outlined in the Present Conditions if this breach is due to a case of Force Majeure as defined or interpreted by French jurisprudence. In this event, the Customer may not claim any indemnity, interest or compensation as result of a direct or indirect prejudice suffered by the non-provision of services.


9. Data security and privacy

Customer data collected by Air France for the needs of the "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle" Option is handled according to the laws and regulations in force.

10. CHANGES TO THE PRESENT GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

Air France reserves the right to change the "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle" Option and the Present General Conditions of Sale at any time. Reservations of the "La Première ground services at Paris-Charles de Gaulle" Option are subject to the General Conditions of Sale in force at the time of reservation, unless a change to these General Conditions of Sale is required by a government authority (in which case this change will also apply to all reservations made by the Customer).


11. APPLICABLE LAW

The Present General Conditions of Sale are subject to French Law. In the event of litigation, only the French Courts will have jurisdiction except as otherwise indicated in the General Conditions of Sale.
