On 9th July 2014 a new daily service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport and Jakarta in Indonesia was launched. The route is served by Boeing B777 -300s with 303 seats, 8 in La Première/First, 67 in Business, 28 in Premium Economy and 200 in Economy and has a technical stop-over in Singapore. The AIR FRANCE - KLM Group currently reaches more than 23 destinations in Asia.

The Indonesian capital was founded in the 5th century, was then visited by the Portuguese in the 16th century and finally became a stronghold of the Dutch East India Company in 1619.
Do not forget to visit the Taman Mini Indonesia Park showcasing different architecture styles present in Indonesia, the old Sunda Kelapa harbour to watch traditional Java boats and the National Monument from which you overlook the city from a height of 120 meters. Stroll through the many markets with their elaborate and colorful batiks and taste mouth-watering and cheap snacks.

From 31st March 2014, a new direct line links the capital of Brazil at Paris-Charles de Gaulle with 3 weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) on board Boeing 777-200 aircraft. This is the third destination offered by Air France in Brazil after Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The AIR FRANCE - KLM Group serves more than 20 destinations in Latin America.

The capital has been built in the outback since 1956 with ultramodern architecture and opened on 21st April 1960 by President Juscelino Kubitschek.
Since 1987 the city entered into the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After the World Cup in 2014, Brazil will host the Olympic Games in 2016.

As from 30th March 2014 Air France operates the Paris-Tokyo Haneda route aboard modern and comfortable Boeing 777s. The great advantages of Haneda airport are its proximity to the center of Tokyo (around a 15-minutes journey) and the possibility to make smooth connections with domestic flights. Air France also flies to Tokyo Narita airport.

On 25th November 2013 Air France opened a new direct route to Panama City from Paris-Charles de Gaulle. The 3-weekly service is operated on Boeing 777-200s, equipped with 308 seats (34 in Business cabin, 24 in Premium Economy and 250 in Economy). The AIR FRANCE KLM group in Latin America and the West Indies relies on 25 destinations and a total of 200 weekly flights across the area.

Panama City boasts a nicely preserved old city district (Casco Viejo) dating back to 1671, bursting with cathedrals, museums, restaurants and jazz clubs. Starting point is the Plaza de la Francia. Besides the famous canal connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, explore the rainforest at the Soberania National Park. And at night do not miss the city's vibrant outdoor evening entertainment.

On 16th April 2013 Air France started linking once again the capital of Uruguay with 5 weekly flights via Bueons Aires. The flights on Boeing 777-200s are equipped with 308 seats (34 in Business, 24 in Premium Economy and 250 in Economy). Montevideo is the 15th destination served by the
AIR FRANCE KLM group in Latin America, thus providing a total of 125 weekly flights across the continent.

Montevideo has a very rich city centre made of colonial buildings from the 18th and 19th century. Plaza Independencia is the starting point to discover the Ciudad Vieja and Centro districts. The city is located at the center of a large bay overlooking the river Plata, offering visitors more than 30 km of beaches.

From 21st May to 1st September 2013, Air France operate a direct flight from Paris to Minneapolis (United States) on a 275-seat Airbus A340 aircraft.
Minneapolis and the adjoining Saint Paul are known as the Twin Cities.
To see: the Mill City Museum which brings back memories of the glorious past of the city's flour milling in the region, the Walker Art Center where you can find the contemporary arts scene.

Flights to Abuja operate daily from 4th June 2012 in conjunction with flights to Port Harcourt.
