A brief overview of our new destinations – get inspired for your next trip!

Stavanger

Stavanger is the fourth biggest city in Norway and the center of the Norwegian oil and gas industry.
By visiting the Norwegian oil museum, you can acquaint yourself with the history of oil production in Norway.
Take a tour through the historic center and the old harbor where big cruiser ships and liners are arriving.
Stavanger´s surroundings will fascinate you as well: Marvel at the 612 m high Månafossen waterfall and walk along the longest sandy beach in Norway, called Solastrand.

As from 31st March 2014, Air France will operate two daily flights via Paris-CDG to Stavanger. The flights will be served by Embraer 170 machines with 76 seats. Stavanger is the second Air France destination in Norway after Oslo and complements the five daily KLM flights from Amsterdam.

Jakarta

The capital of the Republic of Indonesia and the largest city in Southeast Asia is located on the island of Java directly on the Bay of Jakarta. From 30th March 2014 Air France will launch daily connections via Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Singapore to Jakarta, operated by a Boeing B777-300 with 303 seats, eight of them in La Première (First Class), 67 in Business, 28 in Premium Economy and 200 in Economy.

Brasilia

The capital of Brazil was completed on 21th April 1960 and inaugurated by President Kubitschek. Brasília thus replaced Rio de Janeiro as the new capital of the country. Far from civilization, the city was built in 4 years. Located on a central plateau, it is far from the other cities of the country such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Recife. Hypermodern, with impressive architecture the city is since 1987 on UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites.

From 31st March 2014 Air France will fly to Brasilia as the third destination in Brazil. 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Brasilia will be operated with a Boeing 777-200.

Panama City

The capital of Panama is located on the Pacific coast, just at the southern entrance of the Panama Canal. Many international firms and banks, exclusive shops and restaurants characterize the modern city of Panama City.
But only a few minutes away from the modern center in the Casco Viejo district, you can admire the colonial architecture of bygone days. The old town is a UNESCO Heritage Site. On a trip with the Smithsonian canopy crane in El Parque Natural Metropolitano, you can enjoy a panoramic view over the largest urban forest in the world. You should not miss the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal. Here you can watch huge ships as they pass through the locks and the Miraflores Visitor Center provides interesting information about the canal.

From 25th November Air France flies 3 times a week, Monday, Thursday and Saturday to the city in the Pacific Ocean.

A Boeing 777-200 with a capacity of 309 seats, 35 seats in Business Class, 24 Premium Economy seats and 250 seats in Economy, is flying to the city.

Montevideo
The capital of Uruguay

"A house with a garden" - that's how the inhabitants of Uruguay describe their country. The "house" is the capital Montevideo. "Garden" is the green hinterland of Uruguay. With 300 sunny days a year, you can enjoy a pleasant climate. Montevideo is situated on the northeastern shore of the Rio de la Plata and is the southern metropolis. Lively, versatile with a rich culture and history, Montevideo is not only one of the safest cities in Latin America but also one with the highest quality of life. Starting 16 April Air France flies five times a week via Buenos Aires to Montevideo, making it the 15th destination in South America. This route is operated with a Boeing 777-200 and a capacity of 308 seats. 34 seats in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy and 250 seats in Economy.

Kuala Lumpur
The capital of Malaysia

A vibrant Asian metropolis, a melting pot of cultures and a major economic center. You will be fascinated by this city that combines tradition and modernity. Historical colonial buildings, temples and mosques, street food, mingle with ultramodern skyscrapers, exclusive shopping malls, coffee bars and restaurants.
The Petrona Towers, the highest twin towers in the world, dominate the city.

Starting 22 April Air France flies three times a week with a Boeing 777-200 via Paris to Kuala Lumpur with a capacity of 270 seats, 4 seats in La Premiere, 49 seats in Business Class, 24 seats in Premium Economy and 170 seats in Economy.

Minneapolis – St. Paul The Twin Cities

The Twin Cities are located in southeastern of Minnesota and the capital is St. Paul. 60 percent of Minnesotans live in the catchment area of the metropolis – St. Paul. The largest shopping mall of the United States, the Mall of America, is located here. Minnesota is called "the Land of the ten thousands lakes" due to their high number in the area.

Air France flies in the summer season from 21 May to 01 September 2013 to Minneapolis - St. Paul. The seasonal connection is flown with an Airbus A340 with a capacity of 275 seats, 30 seats in Business, 21 in Premium Economy seats and 224 seats in Economy.

Wuhan
Hubei, China

Since April 2012 Air France flies to Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province. The city is located in central China, at the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Han River, and has the largest inland port in China. The city is the economic and industrial center in the region. Centrally located between the major centers of China, Beijing and Guangzhou in the north, in the south Hong Kong and Shanghai in the east and Chongqing in the west of the city is a major transportation hub. The town marks many lakes and gentle rolling hills. There are many tourist attractions, such as the Yellow Crane Tower, the Changchun Temple,. Hubei Province Museum or the 3 Gorges cruise on the Yangtze River.
