Safety and Confidentiality Policy

Data Safety and Confidentiality

Air France systematically includes a link to our General Conditions whenever personal data is collected. We reserve the right to change our General Conditions and advise you to consult them regularly.

Transaction security
We offer a secure online payment system using the latest technologies, notably SSL data exchange protocols. The SSL server software uses algorithms to encrypt the data provided (bank details, address, etc.) before sending it via the Internet. Once it has been encrypted, the information remains scrambled throughout the web transmission and can only be read by our server using a unique key.

The data is encrypted using the SSL 3.0 RC4 128 bit – 512 bit exchange security keys: the SSL protocol with the highest available level of security.
This means that you are guaranteed confidentiality and security when purchasing your ticket.

General recommendations
When you create an account, you choose a user ID and password which will be required to change your account details. Your profile and data are protected by password to ensure that only you can access them. We recommend that you do not communicate this information to anyone. You alone are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and/or any other information related to your profile.
Furthermore, you should always remember to disconnect from your profile and close the window after your session, particularly if you use a shared computer. This will avoid other users being able to access your personal data.

Protection of privacy and personal data

The Air France IT System is registered with the CNIL (French National Commission for Information Technology Rights) under receipt number 661 129 version 1. In accordance with the law dated January 6, 1978 and amended concerning changes in information technology, data protection and rights (articles 39 and 40) you have the right to consult, amend and withdraw any stored personal information.

To exercise this right, simply use the Contact us link on the website home page to send an e-mail.
